Judgment
About 28 years ago, after reading the Book of Job, I created a drawing about humanity standing before Judgment. For me, the angel represents something vast, terrifying, and impossible to fully understand — a force beyond human scale, beyond logic, beyond control. And yet, even this force hides its face from God. The figure was inspired by biblical angelic imagery: three pairs of wings, with the face hidden by the hands. The figures below move from young to old. They represent humanity — aspiring, facing, bowing, struggling, and finally crumbling — trying to make sense of what cannot truly be understood. Today, I returned to that original drawing and gave it new life through AI, influenced by the great Caravaggio.
